Investment objective and strategy

The main objective of Status Finance is achievement of stable growth through investments in companies from the financial sector. We expect this sector to be among the fastest growing in central and eastern Europe which will generate above average returns for our investors. The fund will invest in shares of leading banks in western Europe as well as in financial institutions from eastern Europe. Through this portfolio structure we hope to provide stability for the investors in the fund and opportunities for fast growth.

The fund's strategy is to benefit from the fast development of the financial sector in eastern and southeastern Europe. Our investment focus will be Bulgaria and Romania, which joined the EU on January 1, 2007; potential EU members Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Turkey, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina; as well as Russia and Ukraine.

Our investment strategy is focused on capital gains from securities and to a lower degree from current income (dividends, debt instruments). We shall apply a strategy for active management of our portfolio of securities and money.

In view of the investment objectives of Status Finance we shall invest the collected funds mainly in liquid shares.

In absence of extraordinary negative factors we envisage the main part of these shares to be issued by banks (up to 90% of the portfolio) and non-bank financial institutions (up to 40% of the portfolio) as well as holding companies with stakes in banks and non-bank financial institutions (up to 25% of the portfolio).

The specific structure of assets will depend on market conditions and will be dynamic within the set limitations.

In case of continuous market decline we shall withdraw our investments from shares and direct them to low-risk assets in order to protect the funds of investors.

Unit value and return could decline. Profit is not guaranteed and investors take the risk of failing to redeem the entire amount of their investment. Investments in contractual funds are not guaranteed by a guarantee fund, created by the state or any other kind of guarantee. Previous results of the funds are not indicative of future performance.
