Status New Shares is a high-risk fund focused on investments in shares of stable companies with growth perspective in key sectors of the region of southeast Europe. The Fund suitable for investors seeking to tap investment opportunities arising from the expected economic growth of the southeast European countries during their integration with the EU.

Status New Shares is suitable for individual investors, who seek high yield in the long-term at medium to high risk, as well as for institutional investors, who wish to diversify their portfolio through shares in other countries from the region at relatively low costs.

Through the Fund you have indirect access to the privatization of the most attractive companies in the region. Investments on several markets additionally diversify the portfolio of the fund, which reduces risks for investors. The integration of the region in the European Union is expected to increase the competitiveness and attractiveness of the companies for potential takeovers, which would positively affect their prices.

Investment objective and strategy

The key objective of Status New Shares is to achieve a long-term growth in the value of investments at medium to high risk.

Our investment strategy focuses on capital gains from securities and to a lower degree from dividend income. We shall follow a strategy for active management of our portfolio of securities and money.

In view of the investment objectives of Status New Shares we shall invest the collected funds mainly in liquid shares and tradable rights listed on Bulgarian and foreign regulated markets mainly in southeastern Europe.

In absence of extraordinary negative factors we envisage around 90% of our portfolio to be invested in shares as well as tradable rights entitling to purchase of shares from new issues.

The share of debt instruments, including mortgage instruments, other corporate and municipal bonds and treasury securities will account for 20% of assets. Investments in debt instruments will be made mainly in periods of market turbulence for maintenance of liquidity.

The exact structure of assets will depend on market conditions and will be dynamic within the above limitations.

In periods of continuous market downtrend we shall withdraw our investments in assets and focus on low-risk assets to protect investors' funds.
