Status Invest provides brokerage services on the Istanbul Stock Exchange (ISE).
How to trade on ISE?
In order to trade on the Istanbul exchange you need to sign a brokerage contract with us.
Your funds will be kept in Turkish lira at a local bank account as trading on ISE is carried out in lira. You can ether allocate cash to your account or make a bank transfer in EUR.
The minimum amount required for trading on the Istanbul exchange is 5 000 BGN.
How to place orders?
Orders for trading on ISE are placed over the phone or at the office of Status Invest and the required information includes:
your name and client number
order information (buy/sell;market/limit and validity of the order)
name of share or ISIN code
number of units
price
You will be informed by mail or phone immediately after the execution of the order.
Order confirmations can be received by mail, fax or in person in the office of Status Invest.
Monthly reports about the transactions and your account can be received by e-mail.

from 09:50 to 12:00 EET and from 14:00 to 17:00 EET
Types of Orders
Market - executed at the best available current price
Limit - executed at their specified limit or better
The Turkish market allows short selling and margin purchases.
Taxation
Taxation in Turkey
Capital gain tax - Foreign investments in securities are not subject to special limitations and taxation in Turkey and capital gains are not taxable.
Dividend income tax - 15%, The existing double taxation treaty between Bulgaria and Turkey exempts local investors from dividend income taxes in Turkey.
Taxation in Bulgaria
Under Bulgarian tax legislation incomes from security traiding abroad are taxable.
Settlement
Security settlement is made on a delivery versus payment (DVP) basis at T+2.
Main Indices
ISE National-100 is a market capitalisation weighted index calculated on a daily basis. The Index comprises 100 companies traded in the National market including the components of ISE National-30 and ISE National-50.
