Status New Shares achieved return of 19.5% for the first six months of its initial offering

Return of 19.5% achieved the first regional mutual fund Status New Shares for the first six months of its operating. On 22nd November 2006 the fund’s net value per unit reached 1.195 BGN compared to its starting nominal price of 1 BGN on 22nd May.


Status New Shares invests in countries from the Southeast Europe and the reached return is based on the results of its investments in Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Serbia. In the present moment 39% of the fund’s assets are in shares of foreign companies, and in the long run this percent will increase depending on the market situation.

For the first six months of the initial public offering the fund’s net assets has exceeded 3.8 million BGN.
