The net assets of the mutual fund has reached BGN 1.522 million

On the 31st of August 2006 the net assets of the mutual fund has reached BGN 1.522 million BGN. The portfolio of Status New Shares is allocated in this way - 66% of the investments are hold in shares, 16% on time deposits, 18% in cash. For now the investments in Bulgarian shares are dominating with 40%, followed by 20% investments in Croatian shares and 6% in Romanian shares.


One third of the investments are in shares of three Bulgarian and two foreign companies. They are Toplivo, Dockyard Odesos, Bulgarian rose Sevtopolis which are listed on the Bulgarian Stock exchange, also the Croatian manufacturer of electricity equipment Konchar , listed on the Zagreb Stock exchange and finally the Romanian electricity company Transelectrica, listed on the Bucharest stock exchange.

Status New Shares has concluded a treaty with Serbian Brokerage House and is planning to make its first investments on the Serbian Stock Exchange very soon. At the moment Status New Shares’s assets are invested in over twenty Bulgarian, six Croatian and two Romanian companies. By the end of the year the management of Status Capital is planning to increase its investments in Bulgarian and foreign shares, so that the part invested in foreign shares will reach 40%of all the assets, and 45% of them will be in Bulgarian shares.
