The investment strategy of Status Finance envisages mainly the realisation of capital gains from securities and, in smaller degree, income from dividends/earnings from unit securities, as well as current income from debt securities and other financial instruments. To attain these investment goals, a strategy for an active management of the Fund’s portfolio of securities and monetary components shall be applied. To attain the investments goals of Status Finance, the Management Company shall invest the Fund’s collected resource mainly in liquid shares and tradable rights which are admitted for trading on Bulgarian or foreign regulated markets. The investments in debt securities and fixed-income instruments shall be carried out largely to sustain liquidity and in periods of market disturbances. It is envisaged that the main portion of the Fund’s portfolio consists of shares issued by banks (up to 90 per cent of the portfolio) and non-bank financial companies (up to 40 per cent of the portfolio), as well as shares issued by holding companies which holds shares of banks an non-bank financial companies. The strategy of the fund is to benefit from the fast growing financial industry in East and South East Europe. Focus of the investments will be the countries, which joined EU in 2007 - Bulgaria and Romania, as well as the countries which are expected to join next - Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia Herzegovina and Montenegro, and the former USSR markets - Russia and Ukraine. The concrete structure of the assets shall depend on current market conditions and shall be a dynamic one within the framework of the above-mentioned limitations. |
